I felt this was very appropriate for a first blog. Tonight birthday boy Mike whipped out this little sheet of paper that he found on the Wilk board at BYU. (Where people post papers for wedding rings and the such that they are trying to sell.) One for Guitar hero lessons! Who would have guessed! i was curious and i thought it would be interesting to see what the lessons entailed so i texted the number. the conversation went as follows...
ME: What would i learn from guitar hero lessons?
Guitar Master: It includes technique improvement involving wammy accuracy, how to stand like a rock star and how to strum with your teeth to reduce right hand fatigue.
ME: Where does my band sign up?
Guitar Master: Guitar hero pratices are usually announced by Alex Danger Swan's facebook status. My band, Electric Gonorrhea, is always looking for new members.
ME: What is facebook?
Guitar Master: Oh its all the rage! you'll find out when you get to college.
ME: Do you make apperances for church youth group activites?
Guitar Master: We go wherever we can find people who can't get enough Beat It and bon jovi. Our 478 virtual fans follow us everywhere inside our wii.
The kid was hilarious. What a great birthday treat he provided for the whole family. now i just need to become his friend on facebook and figure out when the practices are....
It was a birthday miracle.
